Flat cooling pad = flat surface... The brand new flat cooling pad mad the laptop run hotter than it did sitting on the old broken curved one. Therefore even without being the most technically mined when it comes to computers even I can come to the conclusion that a flat surface is not the best for my laptops ventilation.

So going along with the above... Yes, this is a 17" HP "notebook"... Still they are known to run hot, and like I just said, if I used it on a desk or whatever else... it would not solve my issues with overheating. It would just save my balls and sperm count.

What I ended up doing today was taking that worthless piece of shit cooling pad back, and exchanged it for a bigger version of my old Belkin one. Since it is bigger the fan is more proctected and the usb cable is actually long enough. Now my laptop is nice and cool and my balls feeling frosty. Big Ups
