Anyway, as for the question, why not just use the built in 'Export Bookmarks' function to create a backup of your bookmarks which you can restore if he deletes any?

EDIT: And, in case your wondering, I don't use Chrome, however I was able to find the answer to your question using this magical thing called Google. You should try it sometime.
