Well i would say you'll be better of buying/building a desktop, definitely when you dont have to go to alot of places with your PC.
I have a PC atm for less then €800,- which runs Crysis at high 
So getting a Desktop better then those laptops for the same price, will be pretty easy 
Else if you really want to go for one of these laptops, go for the Gateway.
Looking at both price/quality the Gateway will give you the best for the money. The Acer sucks imo.
