Honestly are you people that bored that you have to carry on about why someone quit office. If this were a female democrat doing the same thing I doubt you all or the press would give a shit.

If it was any major politician (Major being a tentative term here, but she more or less got the status during the election) of any party, I would say it's worthy of note. Politicians don't up and quit their jobs (Not just not run for re-election, but outright resign) for no (good) reason, female or not. Speaking of which, why bring her gender into this? I don't think it's relevant to the conversation at all.
I know you're a Palin fan, DarkKnight, but I'm sure even you can see past your rose-tinted glasses and see there's something fishy here.
