Actually, I just put in the folder "Renegade" under Westwood directory, tried clicking it from there and nothing happened at all, tried it in administrator mode and same again, nothing happened. So I rinsed and repeated in data folder, again leading to nowhere.
Thanks for helping anyway, anyone else got ideas? Or am I doing something wrong with the Launcher?

Just a hunch, but you should try renaming game.exe to game2.exe as the tool was written to work with RenGuard installed (and attempting to patch RenGuard at "random" places in memory doesn't make it happy  )
