where is the best place to be a part of clanwars, community matches, etc? give me a couple of links where these matches are taken seriously because i'm really sick of this situation.

Best place? Dunno really. Community matches aren't that frequent. Clanwars..you'd obviously want to join a clan. 
But if you're interested in public gaming with teamplayers TheKOSs2 - BI AOW server usually has maybe 6-10 people on TS during evenings (European time). Of course, because it's a public server, there's bound to be some n00bies in it as well, though.
(and TK2 as well as BI both recruit peeps every now and then)
