AMD is great for gameing and 3d stuff but AMD chips arnt for intel mother boreds also a faster prossesor isent going to rise your bus speed

*sigh* Why do you people subject me to such little computer knowledge.
If it's a socket 478 board, I don't know of a damn one that only does 100mhz FSB. Not to say there is one, but it would be very rare. Almost every single one does 133 FSB. So yes, a new processor WILL increase the bus speed, since the board would detect the new chip and set itself accordingly.
