Well, the main reason I like the 360 is the games just appeal to me. Halo 3 and Left 4 Dead are just amazing. Not sure if L4D is on other consoles but it's great on Xbox live.

Also, you could try the towel trick as a temporary fix to your 360 BUT I highly recommend against it as it can cause more lasting damage. Usually they want you to send your xbox in to be repaired, or they'll give you a new one, provided your warranty hasn't expired.

There's a warranty that comes with the xbox originally I'm pretty sure, but it expires after like a year or two, I suppose you can probably renew it for a charge but I don't know.

but if you buy xbox360 and found red light and your warranty expire you will throw it to bin and other people have xbox360 and live in another country can't send it to microsoft

And Sony's warranties DON'T expire? Sony sucks just as much as Microsoft. Maybe even more, because they're Japanese.

after warranties of ps3 expire and ps3 broken we can repair it with other engineer
but if xbox360 have red light and user live in another country we can't repair it and must throw it to bin
if we have warranties we still can't send xbox360 to microsoft either
