I ignore people for the most part as involving myself with them is irrelevant. Usually when I'm out in public I always have my hand near my knife on my belt. I go a lot of places by myself to do things and I don't exactly find those parts of town "trusting". Generally, people wouldn't piss me off. I've been told I look like a pissed off person myself all the time, and not someone to fuck with. Its a vibe I give off I guess or something.
