You probly just need to clean all the dust out of your computer...
Try turning it off one day, opening it up, cleaning all the fans and fan vents individually, this means de-mounting the fan and cleaning the blades, the frame, etc, and remounting it. Take the fan off your heatsink and clean that thoroughly. If it's been there for a few years you might even see a nice sheet of pure dust has accumulated there.
Dust left unchecked is probably one of the top killers of PC performance, and is most underestimated.
