yep this problem has been haunting me since xp...
i moved to vista thinking it was going to solve it for me, yes i was naive to think that.
i guess im just going to have to wait untill nvidia decides to release new drivers for its 8800 series, however it seems that right now all they care about are the 9800 series i think it is.
also on the nvidia forums lots of people are saying to stay away from ntune, which i currently use. so i think im going to uninstall of the nvidia drivers and ntune, and start over without using ntune. maybe rivatune instead
