I made a version 3 of my mod stealth tanks and gun emplacements its pritty old now you might remember it from when i first joined renegademods anyway i made version 3 i wassnt going to make one at first but i came across this guys website (HTMLGODS) which had tutorials on how to use the scripts to make cnc_c130drop mods which my mods are based on so i went thru the tutorial and i learnt a few new things. and from what i learnt from these tutorials like how to make the harvester drivable i put in included in my mod.

now this guy is saying i copyied his mod when all i did was devolope one using hes tutorial isnt that what tutorials are for? lol ive spoke to this guy since and told him that but he is not taking any notice and continues going on saying i stole his mods etc ok 1 or 2 of my mods are similar but so what i learnt from using his tutorial. he asked me if i would give him credit for me using his tutorial which ok isnt much of a problem but then he goes round telling people to spam my email account so why should i give him credit when hes going to be like that.

Mods get copyied all the time most of them are better than the originals themselfs like look at the map called Deth_island isnt that map the same as C&C island but its been improve with a slight ajustment that stops people on GDI doing the MRLS thing, that map is officially copywritten but does anyone care??? lol

If all you did was follow and make a mod after the tutorials, you don't really have to do anything. It would be nice to credit his tutorials, but it's not needed. If he's going to still attack you for supposedly "copying" his mods, after you've told him you'd consider crediting his tutorials or whatever and that you just followed them, than just tell him to fuck off and don't credit him at all.

What's the point in putting up tutorials if you're just going to cry "he's stealing my mods, even though he really isn't, blah blah blah" and attack those who follow your tutorials?
