To edit the boot menu of Linux, look for a text file in:

/boot/grub/menu.lst

run this command:

vi /boot/grub/menu.lst

Have a play about (its pretty straight forward), making sure you ABSOLUTLY BACKUP the original somewhere and then restore it if you break it.

BTW, I managed to get renegade working on Ubuntu 7.0.4 and improved the FPS by tweaking vsync in /etc/xorg.conf.

Still cant get rengaurd working though, I get error 000008 using wine.
