Try Stat > Programs > Accessories > Entertainment > Sound Recorder then go to File > Open and locate the correction3.wav file in your renegade directory. Then click Effects > Increase Volume by 25%. Repeat that step until it is loud enough. Then finally click File > Save to save the file. Test it out in game and see if it is any better. Hope this helped you.
