Can you prove any of the events that took place in the Bible other than quoting the Bible itself? I see falsehood when I smell it.

Can you disprove the Bible? All I see are reasons for its popularity, not a counterexample.

Have you seen the Red Sea split in two to let Israel through and Egyptians die? Have you seen the sun stand still so the Israelis can win the battle? Do you seriously think that a virgin conceived and gave birth to a child?

I can go on all day. Other than the fact that you believe the writers of these fairy tales, all I gave were valid, credible and true reasons as to why the stories in the Bible evolved through time and it's false story of hope convinced people to follow it.

Approximately 65. I'd like to know if you've ever read the bible. There are some very inciteful lessons, even if you don't believe in God. In the New Testament that is Wink. If people followed the examples in that book, there would be quite a bit less heartache in the world. Alas, we humans aren't perfect.

Good point! 65 books that were very selectively chosen by a bunch of fanatics out of many others to form the Bible. Thumbs Up Funny how they even debated whether to include the Song of Solomon in it due to the the massive references of sexuality in it. Ever heard of the BANNED BOOKS of the Bible aka the Apocrypha? People wrote the stories, people bunched them into books to form a tale, and people are now convinced that it was God who was behind it. Huh Huh Huh

And about everyone following the Bible...if everyone followed the driver's road book, then there wouldn't be any accidents. Am I right?

I have one more question. If someone in your family dies, would you visit their grave every now and then and possibly place a flower near it? My mother is an atheist but she still does that for some reason. You'd think rationally it wouldn't make sense to. Wink

Your question indirectly conveys the notion that you think Atheists are simply mindless robot drones. Sorry to break it to you, but I am human. Personally, the death of a loved one would simply make me crash.

Instead of going to the grave and putting flowers, I would rather build a home right near it and be close to them physically. You get what I mean? And I am being sincere about this.

For me, death of a loved-one is the greatest of all tragedies because they are gone forever. They are wiped out into non-existance. All I have is their sacred grave-site and their precious belongings and photographs and the precious memories of them in my mind.

A robot Atheist would forget about them but I am human and I care. But I don't hold any false beliefs of them living beyond the grave.

EDIT: About your question, yes I have read the Bible end-to-end.
