Well just for your info: vista os needs 1gig of ram just for the os alone.

And you guys that think dx10 will be compatible with xp? lol

Well have you ever a future surprise coming, plus ALL future games will be and need dx10 if you want to get the most out of those games.

But either way Vista will be the future OS for gameing anyway.

And like it or not in order for gamers to utilize dx10 in the future you will need VISTA! muhahahahahaha lol

anyway it pretty much the thing that happened to win98 thing we all had to get xp and we all heard the bitching about it then it passed.

Same thing is going to happen with xp now as you will need vista sooner or later, as for linux well its not a gamers OS yet but hopefully 1 day soon;)
