well, i is pointing to 0x000000 so it is pointing to something, which can't be nothing, since that address is taken. You need to define nothing a bit better because what about:

"if there is nothing in the box, there must be something, because there is nothing." Since we treat "nothing" an object, it must be something and that something is what we describe as nothing.


I suppose if you were to delve that deep, then there is something containing the nothing.
