In June, an all-white jury in the mostly-white town convicted 17-year-old Mychal Bell, who was 16 at the time, of aggravated battery, which carries a sentence of up to 15 years. Just recently, an appeals court threw out the conviction, concluding that Bell should have been tried as a juvenile.

16 at the time??? Thats an adult and they knew what they did was wrong.

Up to 15 years for it! If you cant do the time then don't do the crime.

Right or wrong, they knew what they were doing. Guilty as charged M'Lord.

I totally agree. You know the difference from right and wrong at that age and you have to accept the punishment for your actions.
