HP is just as awful as Dell in my experiences. Well, maybe not JUST as awful, but still pretty bad. Everytime I send my damn laptop in to get the power supply fixed(won't get power even when it's plugged in unless you hold the damn cord in place), it ends up the same way after two weeks of its return again.
Generic is not the way for a gamer to go anyways. Get something you can fully customize for a fraction of the price. If you have the time, learn the ins and outs of buying your own parts and building your own PC. If your PC turns out like mine did then you won't be disappointed.
