port forwarding hasnt _anything_ to do with using an (additional) switch.
dlink 5 port is okay, though you could get a 5port switch with the same quality for less.
for example i could get an "Allnet" 5port 10/100 switch for about 12 euro. i have some Allnet products for some years now and theyre pretty good: an 8port switch 10/100 for 20euro, an 8port switch 10/100/1000 (gigabit) for ~60euro and a 24port switch 10/100 for also ~60 euro.
but then again the dlink will also do the trick
