ok, instructions... i also hate my IT department because they think they own the place and know everything.

1) if you have a network printer go to microsoft word and print something. you will get a small dialog box telling where it is printing and a status bar. take a ss of this and paste it into paint. you will see an address the dialog box like: "\\bla\bla\printer" go to notpad or something, go to "open" and type "\bla"(whatever the first thing was on the printer) after this you are free to mess around on the server.

2) for games, put any SWF on your flashdrive or download it from a FTP server. double click it and open it with internet explorer.

3) for websites, get a domain name write a php script to read the site and change include it to make sure it can read the images.

i may sound like a "kiddy h4x0r" but this is the only way i can have fun in school. i even managed to get telnet up and they tryed to punish me for "bypassing the filter" whatever that means, all i wanted to do was check up on my computer at home.
