Ever since I moved to university, when I try to play renegade I have no less than a 750 ping. However, when I play another game like CS:S I have around a 50 ping.
I don't think it has anything to do with the network itself, since we do have a fairly nice connection here for it being free with the rooms, enough to usually download around 200kb/s anyway.
But I have no idea why only renegade would have such a high ping, and no other game. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this, or happens to know a way to solve it.
