J ball, you make a good point, and I thank you for it, I have a different perspective on economy now, I always looked at it from such a direct approach.

However, minimum wage wasn't supposed to be increased so drastically. It was supposed to be increased gradually so the economy and cost of living could adjust properly. It was denied every time. Meanwhile congress votes themselves a fat pay raise just about every year... fucking pigs.

The cost of living has gone up, people are living in shit. And you know exactly what I mean J ball, you live somewhat close to downtown detroit right? (Which I am a close resident to also) so i'm sure you've been there at least once. There are streets upon streets of boarded up and abandoned houses. This is screwed up dude.

The balance of the cost of living, and people's wage is improper, something has to be done, maybe raising minimum wage is not the answer, maybe something else is needed.

Perhaps our taxes are too high and we're paying for things that aren't that important, or possibly there's something else messing things up, either way something is wrong here.

If I knew more I could probably have a stronger opinion on everything, but this is just how I see it at the moment.

And I completely agree that you're supposed to earn what you get, but the less fortunate people should at least be able get enough money so that they can live a somewhat decent life.
