Use the scope when you're too far away to actually get a lock on the target. It's doesn't really matter what you do after that. If you have a red barrier around your target, you know where the head is.

With the moving left and right quickly... Make sure your strafe keys are set to "A" and "D" and just hit both quickly when you're engaged. Use cover as you see fit.


my strafe keys are the left and right arrow keys, easier for me to use.. its each in the players hand to set the keys they like. A and D may be better for you Java, but left and right arrows are better for me. And as far as scope, stages like city flying and others like that use a scope, in tunnels or stages u know there will be close combat dont use scope. Levels like Mesa, you can use scope and non scope (like if they are on the hill covering ur base, u can use scope if u know they dont see you) my 2 cents
