Heh, you aren't the only one who does that...I've been a Mr. Fix It since Ren came out. Laughing

The only times I won't give up my upper-tier char for even a basic engineer is when the HoN/Barracks is dead and I'm using an anti-vehicle class, or if I just happen to be in a vehicle. In either case, I'm of more value killing whatever is doing the damage, but otherwise the loss of a 1000 cred char for a free engi isn't any trouble. No point worrying about it when everything just resets next round anyhow.

A few things really piss me off in Ren: n00bjets and people who get out of their vehicles in the middle of the field. Nothing says "hey, steal my tank" like an empty damn tank. If you don't have repair support, either pull back to your base to heal or bite the fucking bullet. In all my time playing Ren, I've yet to have my vehicle pinched by the bad guys, but I see it happening to others all the time (when I can actually get online, thanks be to this shitball campus network). Even if your vehicle isn't stolen by marauding infantry, you're likely to get popped by a sniper, leaving your teammates to divert their attention from shooting the enemy to cleaning up your mess. It's just not worth it.

Even worse: stickheads who use tanks to infiltrate the enemy base. They drive up to the PP, the HoN, the Refinery, whatever...then they just get out to lay C4 while the tank sits there just inviting someone to come along and grab it. It's bad enough seeing a Hummer/Buggy or an APC swiped after a raid gone bad, but a tank is just fucking ridiculous. And don't even get me started on people who do stupid shit like that with other peoples' vehicles...
