Well since you're saying that playing roms "all the way up to snes" is l33t for the DS, you should know that PSPs have emulators working that can run snes, GBC, GBA, Genesis, Neo-Geo, PSOne ISOs and more. It can also run homebrew programs such as personal planners, internet browsers other than what it already has, home made games *including the doom-psp port,duke nukem 3D port, quake etc" It can play videos, MP3s, store photos, browse the internet and pretty soon it will be able to play DS roms I'm sure (that would mean the DS would be well and truly owned)
The PSP has more processing power, clocking at 333mhz, It has 1 large screen thats very sharp and clear, its small, comfortable to hold and has clear speakers.
PSP > DS in almost every way. The only downside is for those nerds who want to play "project rub" and rub up pictures of women for fun, those people need a life, seriously...
