I do not know if I am in the position to post this.
But i made a walkthrough on an often accured error.
this is what i have been told to do on #bhs_support.I originally made the walkthrough for my clanmates.
if im not in the position to post this feel free to delete it.

Okay here it goes.

Alot of people have been receiving an error as in this one

if you got this error check the dl info. and see with what file it is busy when it gives you the error:

As you see it is busy with C&C_Volcano here.

what you do is go to C:/weswood/renegade/data. and there you delete the
C&C_Volcano.mix AND C&C_Volcano.thu file. (Volcano is only an example this goes for others map also. depending on what map it gives an error)

then you start up renegade again. Renguard will then tell you that this file is missing and gives you the opportunity to download a map through renguard

this will open winrar/winzip and give you the file.

download it and put it in C:/westwood/renegade/data

then you start renguard again and it will let you install core patch2.

I had to download pretty much all default maps. so you might have to this procedure several times but bassicly its the same everytime.

ps: I got my Weswood at C: directory.

others might have it like this:
C:/Program Files/Westwood/Renegade/Data
