I don't read reviews.
If I see a game that I think might be interesting I go to the site of that game, read the features and look at screenshots. Possibly some forums too.
It's often then that I really like it, or not at all. I also listen to what other players say about the game, what they like and what they don't like about it, and I sometimes ask how stuff works in a game.
Based on that I either buy it or not.
