Theres gotta be a spyware process with the same name as every windows process out there. I've seen MDM.exe, smss.exe and of course iexplore.exe as spyware/virus process names.

As for your problems, I've experienced the random ren crashes before, and for me, it was definately caused by using that "Renegade Auto Complete" program.

I suppose if you've damaged your motherboard it could be anything..
