Hardware info:

AMD XP3000+ (2.175Ghz)
Mobo; I dont know (came with comp)
2x 40GB
DVD/RW
CD/RW
Nvidia FX5950 Ultra 256
No Floppys
Intagrated sound card (AC'97)

As for sp2..

Before i formatted i had XP Home with SP1.. I dont personally think that SP2 is worth having, but i got my hands on XP pro corp and it auto installs SP2..

So i dont know if reformatting will help..

But ill try and get back.
