L3f7H4nd3d | Now, there ARE legal uses for .iso files. When Ren came out my cd-rom was fuxx0red up on my (now dead) computer. Westwood sent me a free copy, but since I couldn't use the cd-rom, I couldn't install. I therefore went and found an .iso version and downloaded it, and was able to install and play in the Renegade Community Tournament organized by WW-U. =)

Yup... It's accually legal if you download it and delete it within 24 hours. After 24 hours it's illegal. It's basically supposed to be test drive before you go out and buy it. Kind of like a demo version, only nothing is missing.

Care to show the legal document on that? I do believe the whole "Delete in 24 hours" thing was invented by people to justify their distribution of ROMS and warez, Of course, you show me the document, and I'll be proven wrong.
