dufis791 wrote on Sun, 03 July 2005 18:07 | try this: take the data cd and move all .bik and copy them into your \data directory in a new folder called "movies". BLAH this will prevent the msgs asking you to insert the data CD for cut-scenes and at start up. to skip the begining movie all together (and no prompt) open notepad and save a blank file called "EA_WW.BIK" and another called "R_Intro.BIK" BLAH ***NOTE: when saving, you need to manualy put the extention in the filename AND where it says "Save as Type:" select "All Files" OR ELSE IT WILL SAVE AS "R_Intro.BIK.txt"!!!!! BLAH this is one No-CD hack that I figured out myself (i feel special!) and im sure others have figured it out too.... hope this helps!
| This is way too much to do for a simple NoCD Crack!
Unfortunately, http://m0002.gamecopyworld.com/games/gcw_index.shtml removed all files for Renegade , but I found another Site: GameFix.
The Link here http://66.79.179.19/renegade.htm brings you directly to the provided Fixes/Cracks.
They are all for the english version of the Game. if there are german gamers, I can help out because I saved the only german NoCD few years ago from Gamecopyworld.
I didnt test the Cracks on GameFix, but I can say that my german Crack is much easier to use than these Instructions I quoted here. Just unzip the game.exe BEFORE installing Renguard and confirm the Checkbox of Winzip in case of overwriting the original game.exe. Then install Renguard as usually. You dont need to put dummy-files in your folder or such things, Renegade just starts in the main menu. The FMVs between the Singleplayer Levels are gone and the opening FMV with Havoc too. This saves a bit of time getting started to play online...

Oh and I forgot... To those who never trust a NoCD Crack, just burn a legal Backup Copy of your CD 2 with Alcohol, CloneCD or similar and use this instead of using the worthy original...
