this will prevent the msgs asking you to insert the data CD for cut-scenes and at start up.

Or you could do this:
Insert Data Disk into the Disk Drive.
Close the Auto-Run pop-up.
Run Renegade from your Desktop Shortcut.
Thats how i do it.
