I don't think so, everything else with the internet seems to run fine. Another thing I've noticed is that it takes renguard a few tries to connect to the server. But would the connection cause the game to completely freeze or would it be an error casuing all this? Its all happening more frequently now (every map). I'm thinking of a reinstall, you guys think that may fix it? I took a bandwidth speed test for my cable connection and I got a communications of 1.1 megabits per second, a 1mb down load of 7.7 sec, and the rating of "good". If it matters my OS is windows ME, and when I play I usually close all background tasks.
