Nah MSN is too popular,it has been out for years and years.....all MSN needs to do is add the features of GMAIL and they have a service better than any other.

when a company tries to build on someone elses idean in an attempt to become more popular, the popular company can simply steal the ideas of the new one and put them into theirs. for example E MAIL replies being kept in the same E MAIL is useful thing and I doubt MSN would have much trouble putting that into their system. Since MSN is part of microsoft, and it is microsoft's system both G-MAIL and HoTMaiL use, the creator is more likely to gain a fanbase than a third party.

Besides nobody really needs 1 gigabyte of free space and G-MAIL are probably bargaining on people not going near the limit. Think of how busy their servers would be in having to store and host multi-million amounts of KB, not to mention E MAIL attachments in which many would be MP3s that might have been sent to many recipents, if other G-MAIL users, and hence G-MAIL would have to host the bandwidth for those attachments too. It doesn't seem likely for a free service unless they have funding from another source.
