How to reinstall CP1 [message #137241]

Totaly confused. Recently uninstalled and reinstalled Renegade, downloaded RenGaurd but receive an error when it starts autoupdating. Error says that i have corrupted files and that i should overwrite with the following links: "Scripts" and "always". I did this, and the error went away and the patch starting installing but it always cuts out near the end with the message " Old File does not exist" and it tells me to contact balckhand for help. Any idea whats up??
