since this is the on-goin graphix thread.. i have a problem.. lol

i has to do with the grays.. they look purple when im in PS..
but not image ready
Tried re-installin .. didnt help..

any ideas?

It's OK man - You just got a little pesticide in yur weed dood - Burn sum clean green & then it'll look grey again man... Wink
Actually - don't adjust your settings - the purple - it's just your gayness coming thru - let it come out! J/K man! May seem obvious, but can you simply restore default settings in your editing software?

i smoke the greenest of the green and the hotest of the fire..
u cant get better then what we get in south fla..(comes from canada)
and i say that with no ego lol

i did a re-install and set it to defeault.. didnt work..

msgtpain

try finding a few monitor calibration software apps.. and try a few different color profile drivers for windows.. Adobe also has a gamma loader that you "should" run, if you're using Photoshop.. Another issue that could be causing a problem is 32 bit color.. If you pick just the right color, it can look completely different in your image editing program than it does in IE.. and it can look 100 times different on someone elses monitor.

If nothing at all helps, you may have simply come to the end of the life for your monitor.. Is it only purple after it warms up, etc? or right when you turn it on. When you boot windows, is the blackpoint really light and grey, until windows loads its own drivers and splash screen, then it turns darker black?

searchin for color/montier apps now..

where might the gamma loader be in adobe?

as far as 32 bit color.. it effects ALL the gray levels.. not just one color
and where/what are the windows color profiles?

dont think its the moniter.. just lil over 1.8 years old.. doubt its losing its color

like these things only look purple in Photoshop..
if i chose "edit in image ready" it will look normal..
any where else other then photoshop it wont look purple

im pretty sure the prob is ONLY in photoshop..
