i have a 100mbit connection supoported by a 12gig backbone. It has 2 gig of ddr400 ram. It also has a 2.8ghz cpu with hyper threading so i can assign using affinity the separate processes to the separate cpu's.
The server is not a webserver, i am hosting the website and teamspeak on a completely different server...
it only has some ftp software on it and bren, with a couple of FDS installitions, its as clean as it can get... so really i think i should not be getting uber lag in my server after 1 hour of it running due to the cpu usage Sad

it just starts getting worse and worse with the server.dat process taking up more and more resources... there must be a technical problem somewhere with my istalition, i am just looking for some help from the pro's Smile

BTW this is happening even when there are only just 2 or 3 people in the server, still the same applies after a little while the lag gets terrible because of cpu usage, im sure on the sort of spec server this should NOT be happening, i know people who run more than just one WOL server on a server far less capable than this one and have it filled most of the time without lag Sad
