I personally think if anyone runs a server and they don't want cheaters, they should have RG only people join their servers. Just like Cugs world that when a person joins and they don't have RG it autokicks em and tells em to get it. This would force everyone to get RG and kill the ranks of the cheating, skilless, aad, MORONS who cheat. Because now more people cant distinquish a good player from a cheater, and they just kick on spot! Right Darktec on ADAD serv?!? Btw, i'm still banned for about a year from now even with renquard on.. n00b!

Well, I guess it's because 1. not everyone without RenGuard are cheaters (and hence 1a. the server doesn't want to block non-RG players out as that will unnecessarily reduces the number of players on their server 1b. they can't force everyone to get RG as if they do so, those lazy guys will just switch to another server.) and 2. not 80 or 90% of Renegade players are using RenGuard. That's why I said people should be encouraged to use RenGuard; install it as if it's one of those official WW patches.

Players with RenGuard are 100% non-cheater (unless anybody testifies otherwise) and not every non-RG players are cheaters.

t1000n1, your point about players being unable to discriminate between cheaters and good players are true. That's why I normally don't spot cheaters unless in obvious cases.
