If you got a packard bell machine like me then its the first screen you see and its tehre for about 0.75 seconds so be quick 
also if that doesnt work you'd better hope that you were given some boot CDs with your machine/made boot CDs. (WARNING- this is to restore your PC to factory settings)
happend to me awhile back, ive had real probs withmy comp this/last week, ended up formatting my comp 3 times this week.
