Wouldn't that also mean you have an automatic sniper rifle, shotgun, and automatic warheards in a tank?

I do not think so.

The tanks aren't automatic, since they have to reload after every shot. As for the other ones, I'd say the best thing to check would be the first person animations to see if the trigger is pulled with each shot, or if just holding the mouse button makes your character continuously pull the trigger. I'd do it myself, but I can't seem to run Renegade anymore.
