I dont think is a misconfiguration. I have seen it before, it happens in BRenBot 1.35 sometimes. Its a bug.
The automatic recommendations also dont work correct in 1.35
I suggest you replace the brenbot.exe with the (in my experience) more steady 1.31 version brenbot.exe
The problems will be solved then.

BRenBot 1.31 Executable [WIN32]
For brenbot 1.31 to function properly you need a file called perlglob.exe in the brenbot directory:
perlglob.exe [WIN32]

However, if you run RenGuard (i hope you do) you must know that BRenBot 1.31 does not have this Built-in.
You need to download the RenGuard SSC-1.02 and run this seperately alongside brenbot 1.31.
BRenBot 1.36 is under contruction still Mac is working on this as
well as on the CP1 to have all features fixed etc.
This will hopefully be released soon. BRenBot 1.36 will have RenGuard
built-in then naturally as well as serverside seemlessly integrated BHS.dll
and CP1 specific features.
