As much as I like shooting ppl in the head with my pistol as a tech, I prefer this much strategy much more:

Stay inside your team's respawn area, and plant c4's on your teammates... your c4 explosions can't hurt them, but it can kill your enemies. The c4's will stay on them as they walk around, or even as they enter vehicles; just follow them around (as techs normally should) then explode the c4s as soon they get close to enemies!
