One tactic is to select the sniper rifle and stand in the back of the room by the exit -- by the couch. Far enough so you can see the engies running up the ramp -- then you can pick them off one by one.
time is critcal -- if you pick them off fast - the chopper arrives to late.

Keep the wall between you and the nod buggy - that way it cant hit you.

When i played it - the chopper went to the left and hovered over the building - i then took it out with the flamethrower.
