this post really isn't about mines, but since it's for newbies, i'd just like to say one more thing. if you're relatively new to the game and aren't sure what you should do, then by all means stay back and help defend the base. there are far too few that defend anyway and you'll be much more effective for the team if you stay back in base. not to mention that you'll get killed less often. don't spend your money on the expensive vehicles and characters until you know more about how the game works, all you'll do is give the enemy easy points and money when they kill you.
