It's luck of the draw IMHO. Maybe 1 in 10 games have any form of co-op. Handy to have a pen and paper nearby to jot down the server names of good matches. "Blood Kings" springs to mind.

the best games are ones where players just seem to work together with little or no chat. Using the "J" hotkey is usually a big indicator.
