a n00b just does, thinking they know everything. And even if they know they don't, then they just ignore the advice. In other words, a not-so-good player who refuses to learn.

A newb realizes that they do NOT know everything, and asks questions to see what they are doing wrong. In other words, a player who is not so good, but is able to learn, and thus be better.
