It has to do with intent.

did the original intent of the skin allow it to be visible at a distance?

Or in the dark.

or be less stealthy?

Are maps made dark to simulate something?

what is the intent of the user.

Are you doing it to make up for your lack of skill?

or are you doing it because you have a bad vid/mon combo?

If you cant honestly answer these questions - then maybe Renegade isnt for you - you could always go back an play "Pong" - two simple colors - easy to play...

IMHO - if you change stuff to give you an edge - you are cheating - yourself - the other players - and finally - the game itself.

Why stop at given the stealths BRIGHT GREEN skin - why not edit the ini files to make all your ammo one shot/one kill?

Better yet - why dont you hack into the program and give yourself the "god" mode...

but then - why would you bother to play the game at all...
