I was first elected to Hamilton City Council as the representative for Ward 5 in 1991. I was re-elected in 1994 and again in 1997. After 9 years on Council, I ran for mayor in 2000. I placed third, behind incumbent mayor Bob Morrow and winner Bob Wade. I launched a successful bid for Mayor of Hamilton in September 2006.
I like being the Mayor of Hamilton, it is a beautiful city! |
