well I pmed my bot in irc and setup my name as an authorized nick, when i join game it tells me to enter password but when I do it says access denied yet I enter information, and another error I get is "you are not in game so you can auth yourself" is there a way to remove myself from auth or reset it or something?

N00bstories servers have been having the exact same problems with this as well as some others. I think it must be a global problem, you'll have to ask/wait for a reply from an administrator.

the !auth nick doesnt work in main chat I have to private message our bot then enter the command, and how hard is it to edit the mysql thing? how would i go about doing it

Editing the brenbot.dat is easy, i've done it many times. Just look on http://www.sqlite.org/ to find all the details (its an sqlite database, not mysql).
If you have any probs doing it pm me, but bear in mind I don't check these forums every day.
